From the GDR site: “We were considering one 1500 mile, 6 week long ride or breaking it into two 750 mile 3 week rides. However, in reviewing trails, we are now up to about 1850 to 1900 miles over 37 riding days”.

I hope they do it all in one ride! I wonder if one could ride one Teke the entire way?!! I think I would need to have a backup horse and use them both. I will start looking for 2 horses for the ride. Maybe even a backup on top of those 2. Hummm… Lots to think about and I will start planning now!!

What beautiful country to go through! I love our Rockies. It will be an amazing ride!!
