OK – I now know there are many errors on this page but I don’t know what!!! If you read Russian then check out the original sources for the correct names.

I think I’m going to have to learn Russian to get this information!!

    RE: 2007 Russian President’s Cup

The horses invited were from 2 separate breed books. Read Leonid’s thoughts at http://www.shael-teke.com/web/shael.nsf/Articles/577EA63FB6EB066B8525731F00393F05
    “What breed are these horses?”

I own an Akhalteke racing mare and she’s a winner. She does local long-distance “cross-country” racing, sometimes there’s a fallen tree or two. You have to find the quickest, shortest path to the finish line… and at a quick gallop for 6.1 miles. The Akhalteke horse is just right for this contest, right?
I don’t know if this contest really exists, it’s just a local meeting of friends.
My mare’s a chestnut, and she has a blaze. She loves to run!
    I love Akhaltekes (-:
