Check out Teke Racing, the official website of the International Akhal-Teke Jockey Club! It has Event Results for the Akhal-Teke races, lists Coming Events, and has a Photo Gallery. There are also pages for Racing Sires and Famous Racers, which will hopefully be up soon.
I am very excited about this new World Akhal-Teke Organisation. It looks like it is the brainchild of some of the best breeders in the world, including Alexandr Klimuk of Stavropol, Leonid Babaev of ShaEl Teke and Todd & Jessica Keith of KaraKum Akhal-Tekes. Also listed is Abdurakhman Osmanov, Daghestan. I don’t know anything about him, but I’m sure he’s very knowledgeable (just by association)!
Maria
Osmanov is the owner of Garayusup and several other spectacular horses (many of them black!), so he is knowledgeable in his own right. He is a heart surgeon in Dagestan.
