Mud!

The Pineapple Express is blowing through the west coast and we are warm and wet! I have never seen so much mud!!

I took Akpay and Davinia’s blankets off to condition them to the cold as they will be going up to the Levermann Ranch past 100 Mile. Davinia is going to run with a herd in a 100 acre pasture and Akpai is going to be started for endurance riding. I should have replaced them with their rain jackets!! Poor things are caked in mud, but they still like to run:

    You, too??
We are practically treading water around here to stay afloat from all this rain!
Luckily there is still some pasture out there that hasn’t “gone under!”
Have you had a lot of wind there? We’ve been getting pummeled.

I’ve been meaning to ask you. . .did you take that picture of Tarzan from the side at Tito’s that shows his sheen really well? I have the photo on my computer somewhere. . .and really want to post it on my blog but I need to get permission first. I looked through the book you sent to Amrita (gorgeous photography!), and then it dawned on me that you might have taken the one I have, too. I will email it to you and then maybe you can shed some light.

    Thanks!
    Stay dry!

Kerri-Jo: What means impossible? Here Diva is very thin as she went with Akpai to a place where they were supposed to be on a 100 acre pasture but there was no grass and they were not fed enough. So I have taken Diva to a very lush pasture now and she has gained weight and looks great. Akpai is...
