Some of the IATHA members (from the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association) had the opportunity to visit an Akhal-Teke studfarm in the mountains east of Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. It was dark and raining so the photos are not great, but at least you can check out their horses. It is in a wonderful setting and I hope to return there to do a real photo shoot in the spring.

First they presented their yearlings, then the weanlings and then their breeding stallion:

After we saw the horses we were invited inside for chocolate and cognac and a great discussion!
