I have been trying to find the documentary video – “Geldi: A Horseman of the Turkmen Steppes” by Jonathan Maslow. I think it was not used? He must have some great footage of the Turkoman horses though!!

I can’t resist writing this note, since Teke people like to state that the Teke is the precursor to the English Thoroughbred. Unfortunately I do not have time to write a review, but here is an overview:
