Habib Shael

Habib Shael was imported from the Vladimir Shamborant Studfarm (now Shael Stud). An exotic stud colt with great type and amazing breeding. His parents are so outstanding that they now form their own lines, line Gayas and family Aykhanum.

Habib Shael, May 3, 2004 – May 12, 2009

A kind gentle soul. He was my dream.

I think he was an angel, a Pegasus sent to Earth for too short a time.

Habib has the very typical Akhal-Teke look from Gaigsyz through Gayas, and his large frame and big build come from a 3-4 linebreeding on Sere.

Sapar-Khan and his descendants are known for their powerful muscles and broad bodies, but can be characterized by “insufficient leanness and simplicity”. Sere (Synok x Wnysh) maintained the line of Sapar-Khan. He was a “clearly marked Akhal-Teke of the long lines”. (Golden Collection of Akhal-Teke Horses)

Jenny: You, too?? We are practically treading water around here to stay afloat from all this rain! Luckily there is still some pasture out there that hasn’t “gone under!” Have you had a lot of wind there? We’ve been getting pummeled. I’ve been meaning to ask you. ....
