Funnily enough we were allowed to photograph here with the ancient antiquities, but not inside the memorial in honor of their late president Saparmurat Niyazov (Türkmenbasi). the Sword of Neutrality. Along with the celebrations for the Day of the Horse and the scientific conference was held a competition for representational art portraying their Akhal-Teke horses. The prize for the best carpet was $3000, decoration $2,000, best image $1,500 and best sculpture was $1,000. My favourites were the natural dyed wool carpets made by Boozoganow Satgeldi [...]

Amazone of Peace
